ONSITE ATTENDANCE PROTOCOL
Due to the CDC changing its guidance related to COVID-19, Governor Lamont has changed the executive orders for Connecticut, effective last month (May 19).
- Masks are no longer required indoors or outdoors for those who have been fully vaccinated
- Masks will still be required indoors for those who have not been fully vaccinated
- Governor Lamont said, “we will allow individuals to monitor themselves”/self-report
What this means for us at Calvary:
- For all major services, children’s ministries, youth meetings, and groups starting in June
- We will no longer request social distancing
- We will continue to have sanitizing stations
- We will no longer require masks
- We will encourage people to follow the Governor’s mandate for non-vaccinated individuals, but we will not police in any way
- We will encourage those who prefer to wear masks to feel comfortable in wearing them throughout services and meetings, and will continue to provide them
- Pastor will carry a mask on his person so he can minister to any individual who may feel uncomfortable with no masks
- We will preach and teach love and respect for each other, especially in the presence of differing opinions
- We will strive not to make moral imperatives out of issues which the Bible does not present as moral imperatives
- We will strive to show honor to each other, whether an individual continues to choose to wear a mask or chooses to stop wearing one
- For those seeking to move a little bit slower, we encourage them to continue to connect with us online
We continue to monitor both government and Assembly of God guidance.
